If you are experiencing arm pump when riding motocross then this video is for you. Here are 5 ways to eliminate arm pump when riding motocross. You know that feel when you ride to the point you can hardly hang on to the bike, your forearms feel like they are about to pop, and it's even sometimes painful. That is when you know you have arm pump and unfortunately you need to take a break from riding. So here are 5 tips to eliminate arm pump. Tip number one is correcting your motocross riding technique. You have heard of squeezing the bike as you accelerate but you occasionally forget. Here is one training tip to do off of the motocross track to get your body's natural habits to squeeze the bike. Stand up on the bike and accelerate only using one arm. This is going to get you to really squeeze the bike so that you won't fall off the bike. So as you accelerate you have to lean forward and then lean back under deceleration. Tip number two is stretch. You have to stretch the connective tissue along the path of the veins and arteries that send blood to and from the forearm. We need to get the blood out of the forearm and back into the body. Follow the stretching technique in the video to really start addressing your arm pump. Tip number three is hydration. Follow the recommended amount of pink Himalayan salt to add into your water. This is going to add electrolytes back into the water without the sugar of those sports drinks. When you are at the motocross track you lose a lot of salt so put it back into your body with this tip here. Tip number four is going to be your bike set up. You may have good technique but if you are good at fighting the bike you won't ever get rid of arm pump. Take the time to set your motocross bike up for the conditions that you are going to ride in to have a more comfortable ride. And lastly, the final tip is to implement a workout program for motocross to begin getting you body in shape through phased workout training. You can have the bells and whistles on the bike but if you are fatiguing on the first lap, you won't last long on the track.
