When I was 11 years old, Danny Boy used to be favorite song, and I would sing it unaccompanied at school events with my young clear soprano voice echoing through the hall. Danny Boy is one of the songs that first attracted me to Celtic music, and my love for Celtic music ultimately led me to the harp 🥰☘️ 🎶 This harp version of Danny Boy is one of my favorite arrangements I’ve ever written, because it adds in some interesting notes but still maintains the feeling of the song… it just sounds “right” to me.
