Max black holes and captures for the chosen path, and what makes me even more fond, all bosses parts have been killed. About this version of the game (Extra Version) Extra Version is an official hack of Darius Gaiden released by Taito in the following year. It presents various changes in some features: -Different round/Zone order (see in detail below) -Maximum fire rate provided by default -Max limit for Black Holes in stock raised to 10 -Three more levels of primary fire (larger waves) You can choose between 2 game modes depending on which player side is first picked when starting the new game: -Starting from Player 1 side, you go through the usual branch tree of 28 Zones of which 7 are played, but the order is shuffled. For instance, what is now Zone A used to be Zone T originally. Only the round order is shuffled, but the background music and mid-bosses are not, so this recreates new situations (such as the multiple mid-bosses you can see in zone Q of this replay). Removing the Capture ball from mid-bosses is also easier in this mode. -Starting from Player 2 side, you'll play all 28 Zones in order from A to V' (estimated time for a complete run is about 90 minutes long). Final bonuses (achieved only on a 1CC): 1M pts for every extra life in stock (For Extra Ver. 1P side, max 5 starting with default settings) 300K pts for every Black Hole in stock (For Extra Ver. 1P side, max 10)* 200K pts for every successful Capture (For Extra Ver. max 9?) - "Capture" happens when you detach AND obtain the sphere that controls a mid-boss *Curious fact on the bonus counter: when original Darius Gaiden was made, no item was supposed to be stacked over 7 times, so the digit was left in hexadecimal base. If you end having 10 Black Holes in stock in this hack, for instance, you'll read BLACK HOLE*A where A stands for 10.
