This short and informative animation is just one in a series of educational animations commissioned by the Met Office and produced by Drive Creative Studio Ltd. We began each animation process by dissecting the core messages to be communicated and producing rough storyboard sequences. With a young audience in mind, the complexity needed to be kept to a minimum and the delivery of information at a suitable pace. Exported stills would also be used on education learning sheets. Animation, narration and backing track were produced by Drive Creative Studio and with added sound fx the video was complete.
