Designed under Genesis’ “Athletic Elegance” philosophy, the GMR-001 blends sculptural form with aerodynamic intent, translating the brand’s identity into a new era of endurance racing. Its striking livery reflects both performance and heritage, marking the visual signature of Genesis on the world stage. Developed to LMDh regulations in partnership with ORECA and powered by a newly engineered V8 twin-turbo hybrid system, the GMR-001 represents the foundation of Genesis Magma Racing’s long-term commitment to global motorsport. Two cars will take on the Hypercar class in 2026. The No. 17 entry will be driven by André Lotterer, Pipo Derani, and Mathys Jaubert, while the No. 19 car brings together Mathieu Jaminet, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Dani Juncadella, while Jamie Chadwick is the team's official Reserve Driver.
