This is not a review of the bike park. This is just a little taste of my first experience at the park. Between having to work that night and some serious delays of the shuttle due to an injury, I didn't get enough time on the trails, to post a review. I didn't even get a chance to ride all the trails. Before judging the trail system, I highly recommend watching the Segment's interview with Steven Ford, the Park director. I expect the park is only going to get better from here. My initial impressions were definitely mixed. There is a little more climbing than I would expect for a downhill park. The trails often have really good flow sections broken up by loose, unsupported turns. The dirt varies considerably in quality, so its hard to predict how your tires will stick. It is a little of a mixed bag. The best trail, for me, was rolling Acorn. This was super fun, almost pure flow. I am sure I will like Granite falls, but we did not have time to check it out. Coyote is also solid, and it will probably be even more fun hitting all the side hits. I recommend checking it out for yourself. I will definitely be back for a full day soon.
