protest against Abiy Ahmed regime in Stockholm | ashruka channel On November 1, 2025, we gathered in Stockholm to protest and demand justice for the Amhara people in Ethiopia and the killings of Orthodox Christians in Arsi Oromia region of Ethiopia. The protest Led by the Amhara task force in the diaspora community, organisations such as the Amhara Association in Sweden, MORESH, Amhara Struggle for Survival and Etiopisk Radio i Sverige stood together, voices raised in solidarity, calling on the Swedish government, EU institutions and the international community to step up and act. In this video we explore the deeply disturbing situation unfolding in Ethiopia, where credible reports suggest that ethnic Amharas are facing crimes with characteristics of genocide and mass atrocity.Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF) alongside allied forces have committed acts amounting to genocide against the Amhara people.  Meanwhile the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide has warned of a heightened risk of new genocide and atrocity crimes in Ethiopia, particularly in the Amhara, Afar and Oromia regions.
