This is from when Frankie was a baby Crow. If there is a container on the counter, the bird wants to check it out and even taste it. I gave some of the cake to the bird yesterday and Frankie did not like it. Birds pretty much know what they can and can't eat. But today is a new day and the clever corvid wanted to try the cake again. Frankie still doesn't like cake but still wants to try. The reason the bird is trying again is because plums come in a similar container and this crow is so smart, he know which containers have snacks and treats that he likes! Corvids are really smart birds, especially Crows. They have the mentality of a 7 year old. Crows learn just like children do and act just like children. Frankie the baby Crow is a rescue, not a pet and has since been released into the wild and has migrated and come back home, a true success story. Only Crows get treated like children, all other birds are treated as wild birds.
