Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator Unboxing A lot of our viewers have been asking if we have been using foil in our work and are interested in how to use it. We reached out to our friends at American Crafts and they shared with us a Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator to try out! The Minc is a heated foil applicator system. Using items printed with a carbon based toner or special inks such as the pre-printed items available from Heidi Swapp or your own designs from a laser printer or copier you can add foil to those printed designs. The toner heats up and causes the foil to transfer to your work. It is important to note that this has to be from a laser printer, ink from an ink-jet printer is not going to heat up and react to the foil to allow it to transfer to your designs. The Minc really let's you add a unique touch and a professional quality to your projects. The foil application comes out as crisp and perfect as your printing making it look like it came right from a printing press. Your invitations, cards, and projects will look great!
