In this video, we're talking about building out a bushcraft kit for you to explore the craft of the woods. This is part 1 where we'll be starting things out with budget in mind. How do you put together a quality kit with as low a price-tag as possible? In this video, I'll be sharing my suggestions and really my mentality when putting together a bushcraft kit. In future videos in this series, we'll be getting into some of the premium gear, but for now, budget is our priority! A bushcraft kit is a collection of gear that, for lack of a better term, helps you accomplish bushcraft tasks - woodcraft, survival, wilderness skills, etc. This kit should contain enough gear to help you without having so much that it overly encumbers you. Bushcraft is usually heavily reliant on your wilderness knowledge and your ability to use natural resources to live more comfortably and thrive in outdoor places, so this kit is not a backpacking kit, it's not a survival kit, and it's not a tactical kit.
