Experience the Timbertown Heritage Railway one last time. This is a full POV ride around the 595mm narrow gauge circuit at Timbertown Heritage Park in Wauchope, NSW — filmed in the final days before the park permanently closed in January 2026. The 2.4 kilometre railway looped around the 87-acre park, crossing the longest 595mm gauge trestle bridge in the Southern Hemisphere and passing recreated timber village scenes, bushland, and the Timbertown lake. Hauled by historic John Fowler steam locomotives, this short but character-filled journey was a highlight for visitors for decades. With Timbertown now closed and a dispersal auction underway, this video preserves the full ride experience as it was — the sound of the whistle, the rhythm of the rails, and the atmosphere of a unique Australian heritage railway. If you enjoy heritage railways, narrow gauge steam, and preserving railway history, make sure you’re subscribed.
