Uncle Ike's, a popular pot shop on 15th Avenue in Capitol Hill, was forced to close this weekend following a brazen crash-and-grab incident that caused $30,000 in damages. The closure comes as a significant blow to the store, which typically sees its highest sales on Saturdays and Sundays. Early Friday, police reported that between three and five individuals used a car as a battering ram to break through the store's window and steal merchandise.
