Some video footage and photos taken on Monday 27/07/17 at Sanctuary Wood Hill 62 Museum & Sanctuary Wood Cemetery 2 miles outside Ypres in Belgium. The Museum is privately owed by Jacques Schier, the grandson of the farmer who founded the museum and owned the site of the museum since before World War 1 and left it as he had found it. He is known at 'Fat Jacques' to generations of visitors. The museum has a collection of World War 1 items including a rare collection of 3 dimensional photographs, weapons, uniforms & bombs. A preserved section of British trench lines is located behind the museum. The museum also has a small bar, cafe & gift shop. In the cemetery at Sanctuary Wood at 11.J.21 is the grave of 2nd Lieutenant Wesley Maultsaid 18632 a former Linfield player (Son of W.J. Maultsaid from Londonderry) He was serving in the Royal Irish Rifles 11th Batt. when he was killed on 12 November 1916 Age 28.
