Stephanie & Jes’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, culture, and family, unfolding across some of the most meaningful locations in the Chicago suburbs. The day began at St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Cathedral in Bellwood, Illinois, where generations of family gathered for a traditional Indian Catholic marriage ceremony. The ceremony itself was layered with powerful moments: the thali being tied, the sari blessing, vows spoken with hands resting on the Bible, and the couple placing flowers at the statue of Mother Mary before exiting the church. After the ceremony, we traveled to Cantigny Park in Wheaton for portraits and a private vow exchange, giving them space to slow down and speak directly to each other after such a meaningful mass. The celebration continued at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace, where the reception blended elegance with cultural tradition. Stephanie later changed into an Indian outfit, adding another layer of cultural storytelling to the night. The reception featured heartfelt toasts, two full dance performances, and a packed dance floor that stayed lively well into the evening. With warm piano instrumentals and voice-overs woven throughout, this film was crafted to feel timeless — something they can return to every anniversary and remember not just the day, but the people who made it unforgettable.
