This is the fourth & final video in this series on tumors of the spinal canal. In this episode, I focus on non-neoplastic lesions that can closely mimic spinal tumors on imaging. The key lesions every radiologist should be familiar with are discussed, namely cavernoma, arachnoid cyst, epidermoid and dermoid cysts, dural lipoma, epidural lipomatosis, epidural hematoma, and epidural abscess. Recognizing these entities is crucial, as management, urgency, and prognosis may differ completely from neoplastic disease. 0:00 - Introduction 1:29 - Cavernoma 4:04 - Arachnoid cyst 5:49 - Epidermoid cyst 8:58 - Dermoid cyst 11:11- Dural lipoma 12:02 - Epidural lipomatosis 13:34 - Epidural abscess 14:54 - Epidural hematoma 16:10 - Summary & key messages This video is designed for: radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows, neurology and neurosurgery trainees, and anyone with an interest in neuroradiology. Together, this completes a comprehensive framework for evaluating spinal canal lesions: intramedullary, intradural extramedullary, extradural, and their important non-neoplastic mimics. #radiology #neuroradiology #neurology #neurosurgery #neurosurgeon #medicaleducation #medical #medicalstudent #spine #neurosurgery #foamed #medical #medicalstudent #mri #learingradiology #neuroradiologist #radiologystudent
