Domein De Wijngaardsberg is located where the oldest evidence of winemaking in South Limburg and even in the Netherlands can be found. On the current location of Domein De Wijngaardberg vines were planted as early as in 968! Vineyards in the Netherlands disappeared around 1800, but in 2002 a new start was made.
