Ichigo uses a defensive Quincy technique called Blut Vëne. Yhwach reveals Quilge's Jail can only be broken by a Quincy, but Ichigo does not know the truth about himself or his mother, Masaki. Realizing Aizen (Kyle Hebert) used his Shikai ability so he would lose track of time, Yhwach makes haste to depart after Ichigo's his Zanpakutō is destroyed by Haschwalth.
