Certainly a long way from home in this episode. We drove our SUV from our home in Ontario all the way to Gross Morne National Park in Newfoundland, roughly 2500km away (1553mi). Our travels included an 8 hour ferry ride that took us from Nova Scotia to the West Coast of Newfoundland where we continued our drive. Although we only had 2 days in the province, we made the most of it, hiking, swimming and of course summiting our first mountain ever!
