NFL Matches Where Fans Went WAY Too Far! Welcome back to Sports Splash, today on the channel we are going to check out the Times fans who went too far during an NFL match. Fan misbehavior appears to be on the rise and, with football season here, the crowds are only getting bigger. Early in July, Stacey Hall, a professor of sport management and the executive director at the University of Southern Mississippi’s National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security, logged onto Zoom to moderate the latest meeting of the research institution’s professional advisory committee—a group composed of more than 30 major league stadium operations executives and security directors, plus two FBI agents, that holds quarterly roundtables comparing and sharing best practices across their field. It seems that fans are getting out of control especially during the game. In today’s video, let’s take a look at the times fans went too far during an NFL match. The time one guy intentionally threw up on an 11-year-old girl. Some of the acts that follow in this gallery are fairly harmless, but this one may be the most disgusting thing to ever happen in Philadelphia — a city, mind you, where Sam Bradford is worth millions, so disgusting things are commonplace. During a Phillies game in 2010, a 21-year-old fan named Matthew Clemmens and his friend were escorted by security out of their seats for unruly behavior. However, on their way out, Clemmens reportedly "leaned over and put two fingers down his throat" and started vomiting onto an off-duty police officer and his 11-year-old daughter. No further commentary needed. He was later charged with aggravated assault along with a few additional counts. The time Ryan Howard had a beer bottle thrown at him. McNabb shouldn't feel bad; he's not the only icon from the City of Brotherly Love to be targeted by those who should adore him. This past June, Ryan Howard grounded out to end a home contest versus the Brewers. Then, on his way back to the dugout, someone from the stands chucked a beer bottle at him. The first baseman wasn't hit by the beverage, but now he has to keep his head up each time he takes a stroll to his bench in his own stadium because he can't trust his own fans not to toss random objects at him. No place like home, huh?
