Check bio for more info ⬇️ - Shimmer reverb is a weird one, I do enjoy it, but I prefer running octave pedals into a reverb. Because of this love/hate relationship I always prefer shimmer reverbs with a tone knob (or more control in general), take the Boss RV-6 for example, darken the tone and the shimmer sounds amazing, but having it bright, to me, sounds a bit naff. I'm quite shocked at how much I like the JHS Octave Reverb seeing as it has no tone control, it just has that vibe instantly.
