The seized properties include a multi-storey home, a market complex with a gym, a Kalyan Mandap, another building, four land plots, 175 grams of gold and bank deposits of ₹43.81 lakh. Barik failed to satisfactorily explain the source of these assets. The case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act and investigations continue.
