A & W Root Beer INGREDIENTS • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar • 1 cup very hot water • 1 cup corn syrup • 1 teaspoon McCormick root beer concentrate • 10 cups cold soda water PREPARATION STEPS 1. Dissolve sugar in the hot water in a small pitcher. 2. Add the corn syrup and root beer concentrate and stir well. Cover and chill syrup until cold. 3. This is your root beer syrup, that you can store in the refrigerator until you want it. 4. When you want a great glass of root beer, stir 1/4 cup of the root beer syrup into 1 cup soda water.
