Ground turkey that is very lean is an excellent choice as we age or are on a high protein, weight loss journey. This meatloaf recipe is tried and true and comes out moist and delicious every time. 1 pound of lean ground turkey One egg 1/4 cup of oats 3/4 of a diced onion 🧅 (keep the other quarter for the top) Half a cup of ketchup (1/4 goes in the meatloaf and 1/4 goes on top of the meat meatloaf) 1 teaspoon of sea salt Black pepper to taste Mix altogether and spread into loaf pan. Top with the quarter of the onion, diced and a quarter cup of ketchup that was remaining.. Baked covered with foil for 45 minutes at 350°. Take foil off raised temperature just to get the meatloaf brown. This is a moist and delicious recipe. I like it with peppers in it I like it with cheese in it, but my husband does not so this is my ordinary, plain turkey meatloaf recipe.
