An abandoned rock house sits on a lonely hilltop in the desert. Nobody seems to know when it was built or why. Im going to take a long ride across the desert and through the mountains to get there. This is the second video in my motorcycle travel series across the state of New Mexico. In this episode I’ll ride out of San Lorenzo Slot Canyon and head over to Elephant Butte Lake near the town of Truth or Consequences. I’ll ride on backcountry dirt roads into the Cibolla National Forest and check out some amazing rock formations at Luna Park and learn about the history of one of the Wild West’s most notorious fugitives… and I’ll ride through the backcountry to a mysterious rock house that sits abandoned in a unique location overlooking a mighty river in the desert.
