...in which I test out a recent 2nd hand lens purchase from Lemon Cameras, Shinjuku. It's cheap and it's cheerful but the Nikkor 135mm f/2.8 Ai-S is definitely no lemon. With good reach and a fairly wide aperture, this should allow me to capture far off details with good subject separation. At least, that's the theory. I try it out on the streets of Shibuya and then run some Ilford HP5 through it back home in Australia. The results are amazing and the price is cheap. It makes you wonder, is there such a thing as a bad 135mm lens?!
