You will need: A wooden star, cotton cord 4mm, scissors. Cut 2 cords x 3m to begin. Then for each pair of cords you can reduce the length by 20 cm. You will need 18 cords in total: 2 with 3m long 2 with 2.8m long next 2 with 2.6m 2 x 2.4m 2 x 2.2m 2 x 2m 2 x 1.8m 2 x 1.6m 2 x 1.4m Or you might want to keep the same length for all the cords. The tutorial uses three common macrame knots: -larks head knot -double half hitch knot -square knot and gathering (wrapping) knot Τhe tree length is: 17" - 43 cm (without the star), width 8.5" - 21.5 cm.
