Learn Complex ELA Concepts with Ease in under 3 minutes w/Mrs. Fisher’s Songs ELA/Grammar/Literary/Writing Rap Song Artist Concepts for Grades 5th-12th Aloha, my name is Donna Fisher. I am a veteran English teacher who has taught grades 6th-12th for almost two decades. For six years, I taught grades 7-12 daily (one period of each grade) using an Abeka (rigorous) curriculum in a private school, and I have taught grades 6, 7, and 8 in public school for over a decade. My students have not only been able to learn and understand these complex ELA concepts, but they have also been able to retain what they learned; and demonstrate their knowledge on the end-of-year state test. Now, I want to share them with you. I have been creating and using my raps since 2005 in both public and private schools with tremendous success. I have a passion for creating educational music, and I have created over 200 ELA Rap songs. So that you have access, I am adding the Lyrics below. Enjoy! Please like, and subscribe to my channel, Mahalo nui loa (Thank you very much). 35 SAT, Grammar CD-1/35 Noun 🎵Subject of the Sentence By Mrs. Donna Fisher Copyright © 2009, all rights reserved Subject is who or what the sentence is about. It’s the understood “you” in the imperative (Shout!). To find the subject, Ask who or what before the verb. When you respond, The subject will emerge. The subject of the sentence Comes before the predicate. But, if the sentence is inverted, “Verb then subject” is what you get. To find the subject in a question, Make the question a statement. Switch the order of the question, (It’s time well spent.) Subject is who or what the sentence is about. It’s the understood “you” in the imperative (Shout!) Okay, I have a question. “How do I switch the order of a question?” I do switch the order of the question, how? Stop playing “How do I make the question a statement”? I do make the question a statement, how? No, I want to know, “What did switch the order mean?” Switch the order did mean, what? Are you going to answer me? You are going to answer me. How can I answer you? I can answer you how. Now, I am even more frustrated. I will go ask my math teacher.
