The Legacy of the Third World Liberation Front student strike at SF State

From November 6, 1968 to March 20, 1969, a diverse coalition of students from then San Francisco State College participated in what would become the longest campus strike in US history. Despite violent clashes with the police, the students fought for equal access to higher education, courses on ethnic studies, and more faculty of color. We hear from three Filipino-Americans who look back on their participation in the strike and the impact it made on future generations of students.
