The five movements' start times: 00:00 Prelude 01:52 Dance 04:00 Interlude 05:40 Contemplation 10:58 Joy I was privileged to play for Alex Peloquin during the 1970's, accompanying his choruses at Boston College and at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence, RI, as well as touring with them in the US and Europe. The publication of Peloquin's "Suite for Organ" in 1971 was perfectly timed to make it my 20th century repertoire choice for the AGO National Playing Competition in 1972, which I was blessed to win. Dr. Peloquin was a distinguished performer and composer. His music was tremendously popular during his lifetime, revealing of his classical roots, with a refreshing jazz and Latin twist.
