Born in 1921 in rural Harrison County, Missouri, Faye Della Wilson's early years were shaped by the resilience of the human spirit. Growing up during the Great Depression, she faced numerous challenges within her humble farming family. Despite these hardships, Faye developed a gritty determination that would define her life. At just 14 years old, she entered into marriage for the first time, but it ended in a bitter divorce. However, this heartbreak did not deter her spirit. In 1949, Faye took a leap of faith and married Ray Copeland - an event that would drastically alter her future. Marriage to Ray brought its own set of hardships as their union was far from blissful due to his fraudulent activities. Constantly on the move and one step ahead of the law, they struggled to make ends meet amidst a relentless grinding reality. Yet amidst this bleak landscape emerged moments of joy with the birth of their five children - beacons of hope in their clouded existence. However, even these moments were overshadowed by uncertainty and tension in Faye's role as both wife and mother. Little did she know that worse times lay ahead. #Resilience #GreatDepression
