In this #devlog for Too Much Quests, I introduce you to the concept of my cozy, funny, RPG dream indie game and the cute, silly, little characters that make up the D&D style party that you play as. It's heavily inspired by TTRPG's like Pathfinder, DnD, and Call of Cthullu and blends 2D sprites and art with 3D graphics to create a unique stylized look for the game. Through these developer logs, I'm going to show you how I bring these characters to life using software such as Krita, Photoshop, Blender 3D, and Unity, although I'll also be giving more general tips and advice for indie game devs that'll apply even if you use Unreal Engine or Godot. The game features turn based combat, cozy building and farming mechanics, party and character based spells and abilities, and all sorts of wonderful artistic characters to meet and quests to complete. For the coding, I do use a visualization software known as Playmaker which helps me better SEE what I'm doing while programming. There are four characters that you can switch between at will- Mogurt the Devourer, the Cat, Somebad the Bard, and Tyriana the Lizard Wizard If this game looks interesting to you, please SUBSCRIBE!
