This video is a recording of the Tri Cities Prostate Cancer Support group's September 2022 meeting held over Zoom. Dr. Wong is a dual board-certified urologist who cares for patients and aims to provide the best urological care to serve his community. His fundamental career goal is to improve the lives of those afflicted with urologic diseases by caring for them at the highest clinical standard, training future surgeons, and advancing clinical research. In addition to his desire to care for patients across the full spectrum of urologic diseases, he specializes in urologic oncology and minimally invasive treatments for prostate, bladder, testis, and kidney cancer including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. He is leading the research program at Fraser Health Urology and feels strongly that research has the scalable ability to impact patients beyond the clinic and operating room. His focus is on leveraging big data to improve patient care, surgical education, and clinical trials. - For more information on Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (formerly Prostate Cancer Foundation BC), please visit prostatecanada.ca The views, information, and opinions expressed in this video are those of the individuals involved and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (PCFC) or its employees.
