The Howe Sound Crest Trail is a difficult hike popular for its incredible views of the Howe Sound and surrounding mountains near Vancouver, British Columbia. Some of the waypoints include: St. Mark's Summit, Unnecessary Mountain, The Lions (Twin Sisters), Magnesia Meadows, Deeks Lake, and more. At almost 30 km long and with 1,600 metres elevation gain (I misspoke in the video: 2,500 metres is SOBO from Porteau Cove to Cypress), most people attempt the HSCT as a multi-day hike, but it can be done in a day if you pack light. I started at Cypress parking lot and was picked up in Porteau Cove. There are practically no water sources from Cypress to Magnesia Meadows, so be sure to bring enough water to get you there!
