Sylvia Lim on Monday (Dec 13) testified before the Committee of Privileges (COP) on what transpired at the Workers' Party's disciplinary panel interviews with Raeesah Khan on the lie she told in Parliament, based on the notes she took at the interviews. She highlighted an exchange between party chief Pritam Singh and Ms Khan on Oct 3, a day before Ms Khan repeated the lie in Parliament. "The question was put to her by Mr Singh as follows: 'Before the October session, I met you and I told you that it was your call. Did the need to tell the truth in Parliament occur to you?' And her response was: 'Yes, but I was consumed with guilt and my own experience. And I thought that it wouldn't come up.'"
