(MATERIALS LIST BELOW) In this video, Davis goes over a simple fly recipe for a commonly imitated redfish food, shrimp. In preparation for a Redfish trip to the Texas coast that happened earlier this year, Davis wanted to fill out his shrimp box but needed something specific for the area he was intending to fish. Based loosely off both Rio's 'Shrimp Tease,' Rio's 'Meat sweats,' and an OG coastal pattern call 'Redfish crack,' this fly was designed to be simple to tie and have enough profile for dirty water with a little less 'SPLAT' for the clear water conditions he expected.
