Beautiful Savior by the Samford A Cappella Alumni Choir

It is a tradition of the Samford A Cappella choir to sing this arrangement of Beautiful Savior at the end of concerts. Because of the long humming passages, the singers must stagger breathe. They hold pinky fingers with the person next to them and squeeze when they are about to breathe so that the music is not interrupted by many singers breathing at the same time. With the COVID crisis interrupting our lives so profoundly, alumni members from the acappella choir have come together to share this beautiful piece of music in a virtual setting, to bring some hope during this confusing time. Forty-four alumni members are featured in this video rendition of the song. We thank everyone for their participation and hope this music brings peace to all who hear it.
