The Cessna 340 is such a solid aircraft to pilot. It made flying to Destin through storm cells, thick IFR and turbulence a very comfortable experience. While Tom and I studied our path, and weather, in real time, and made wise aviation choices, the Cessna 340 lived up to its reputation as a stable, solid platform. We made this trip to Destin to pick up friends who were being called home for a family emergency (they are not in the video).
