Die erste Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Deluxe die ich geraucht habe, hat mir damals meine Freundin aus der Stadt als Mitbringsel geschenkt. Als ich dann rausbekam, dass die damals über 12 Euro gekostet hat dachte ich mir (bloß nix sagen), naja bestimmt zu teuer, aber sie weiß mich halt zu schätzen. :P Bis ich die dann geraucht habe. Ich hatte damals bisher noch nichts besseres geraucht. Und auch über dieses Exemplar hier, kann ich nur positives berichten. Sie beginnt mit Walnuss und leichten Zeder-Noten es entwickelt sich kurzzeitig etwas Fruchtsäure, die an Himbeer-Essig erinnert. Im zweiten Drittel cremige leicht süße Haselnussaromen. War sie die ersten beiden Drittel aromatisch recht "hell", so wird sie im letzten Drittel überraschend dunkler aber nicht zu stark oder streng. Erde, dunkle Schokolade, schließlich gesalzenes Karamell und Kaffee-Röstaromen. Top verarbeitet und ordentlich gefüllt, so dass auch bei dem eher kurzen Format eine Rauchdauer von über 70 Minuten und mehr drin ist. Da erscheinen selbst die 15 Euro, die ich für dieses Exemplar bezahlt habe gerechtfertigt. Vermutlich sind sie mittlerweile noch teurer und werden dank der neuen, fragwürdigen Preispolitik irgendwann zu teuer. Earth, dark chocolate, finally salted caramel and coffee roast aromas. Top processed and neatly filled. A smoking time of 70 or more minutes is realistic. So that even the 15 euros that I paid for this copy seem justified.
