This lesson explains how business (the arrangement of resources) is "orchestrated" by managers on a day-to-day basis. An owner-manager (a sole proprietor) serves two roles in their business: investing the necessary capital, and then taking responsibility for directing the productive and effective use of the resorces that their capital procures). Where a large corporate enterprise is established using many, many investors' capital injection, the enterprise is directed by managers employed for that role. Managers working in large corporate businesses usually don't have any capital invested in the enterrise. But, managers are sometimes rewarded by being issued a capital stake in the busijness as an incentive and as a reward (we'll cover that in another lesson in this playlist).
