A game after a while, as the PYT folks—busy growing—took a small break to do something they’re always passionate about: sledging on the battlefield while playing cricket. People showed up a little late, but they eventually lined up for some epic battles with bat and ball… and mostly with the sent4nces exchanged between overs. The most important face-off to watch? Dev vs Kaala — a true definition of skill vs confidence. Who’s who? That’s still up for debate. Two games were played, each with its own vibe. Game 1: A low-scoring scrap ending at 35 in 7 overs. Kaala’s team collapsed early, losing wickets in the first three overs thanks to Dev’s brilliance. But they came back strong, having Dev’s team by the throat with single-digit scores after three overs. Then Aravind flipped the script, smashing it in the last over to seal the win. Game 2: Completely different story. Runs started flowing like converts in the last three days of Sprint 2 :P A high-scoring shootout where everyone got smashed — especially Dev, who kept conceding against Kaala. Tarakesh bowled the only respectable over of the match, and his batting showed class as he nearly carried his team to a second victory. But Hari (not OG Hari, but Maalai-wearing Hari) bowled the final over like Bumrah vs SA in the finals, defending 7 runs off the last 6 balls and sealing the win for Kaala’s team. Overall score: 1–1, as the saga of Kaala vs Dev continues to its next chapter.
