WXXA Commercial Breaks (March 22, 1993)

Taken from the Fox 23 movie showing of "The Big Chill." "Fox 23" is the namesake for WXXA-TV (channel 23), the Fox affiliate in Albany, New York. WXXA would air movies during the day when Fox didn't have programming. By this point, however, Fox had expanded to all nights of the week in primetime, leaving the 8pm slot unusable for WXXA to air movies or talk shows. The 10pm slot, usually cleared for Star Trek reruns, was used that evening for the mini-series "The Wild West." (C) 1993 Heritage Broadcasting Group; WXXA is now owned by Mission Broadcasting.
