Hey Y’all, Thanks for coming back and/or checking my channel out! Once again, this felt like it took forever to edit, but that's part of the fun heheh. I tried a few new things with this video, including: an intro transition, intro itself for my channel woop woop, sound bites, and I switched around some things in the end with the addition of the voiceover. In this vlog, I cover the second half of September, where I explored more of Yokohama, including Chinatown, the Pignic Cafe, the Red Brick Warehouse, and various Temples in Kamakura. For anyone who is curious, I took part in the “Global Studies, Japan” program through UCEAP (University of California Education Abroad Program) via my University (UCD) during the Fall quarter/semester from Early September to Late December in 2024. During my time there, I took courses that were pre-approved for my school and was very fortunate to get all my expenses covered by scholarships and financial aid. I was able to make a lot of friends, thankfully and honestly, I wish I could’ve spent a year instead of just a semester abroad. Also, I participated during my Senior year, so I would recommend doing it in Sophomore or Junior year for those who may be thinking of participating as well. Talking about friends I made abroad, for any of you watching, I hope you're doing well after a year since our initial meeting. I truly wish you guys the best, and I am so happy to have met you all. In other news, current things going on in my life include: still adapting to post-grad life, trying to get my shopping cart ready for Black Friday/the holidays, grinding to get my car (and license, yes, I am 22 without one, I know ;;;;). My current goals include: waking up at 5am consistently, going to the gym 6x a week (which I’ve been able to go up to 5x), and maintaining a good night routine (same as last time lol). Are you guys up to anything fun? Feel free to let me know in the comments. With that being said, if you have any questions about my experience or, in general, want to engage in conversation, feel free to comment, and I’ll make sure to respond! I am always open to feedback on how I can better my content. Also, engage with this video by liking and leaving comments. I do honestly hope to eventually engage with more people, and I’m always open to making new friends. And, follow me on ig and TikTok, I promise I'm trying to post and be consistent, y'all. Regardless, you being here means a lot to me. Thanks for watching :) ♡ Questions for the week: ♡ Where are you watching from? 🌍 What’s your favorite part of Japanese culture that you’d want to experience in person? Would you ever go to a pig cafe? If not, is there any animal-themed cafe you'd go to? ——————————————————————— ♡ My Social Media! ♡ Instagram: @Softuwustudies Tiktok/Lemon8: @soft.uwu.studies Pinterest: @Softuwustudies ——————————————————————— ♡ FAQ ♡ Name: Nana Ethnicity: Mexican-American Age: 22 California, US Sub count: 81 ( Let's gooooooo, tysm ♡♡♡ ) ——————————————————————— ♡ Equipment I use! ♡ Phone: Galaxy S24 Ultra Editor: Davinci Resolve (Free!)
