Message from the President: Hello, I'm James Ennis, President of Musicfest Northwest. We know how difficult this year has been for everyone and, while we had hoped that our festival would be back to normal this year, we are very grateful to everyone for their understanding that this was just not possible given the current events and venue issues. In lieu of our normal festival, the board of trustees came up with the idea and decided to host a series of divisional Master Classes, and they were most successful! We are excited to be able to share some of the wonderful performances and incredible learning experiences provided by the professional master clinicians this year through a professional video format. This was a new and exciting adventure for Musicfest Northwest as it was for the participating students and teachers. This was our way of giving something back to our community this year. Now, because of all forms of social media, we have past and present students and their families, past and present teachers, and past and present adjudicators which spans nearly the whole world. The Musicfest Board of Trustees wants everyone to know that we shall be ready for the upcoming 2022 festival season and we are fully committed to continuing the highest of standards for the competition and adjudication format that we work so diligently to provide. We will continue the rich 75 years of tradition to bring the best of the best of adjudicators from across our nation to provide the highest standard of grading and teaching that the festival students, their families and teachers deserve. I would like to extend a very generous thank you to all the students and their families, teachers, master clinicians, the Musicfest Board Members, our wonderful volunteers, the ever so valuable tech people, and everyone else who made this offering possible. This was a lot of work in a very short time to change the scope of our traditional festival to divisional master classes. So, we thank you all for your patience and grace.
