Price: The electric SUV is priced between Rs 23.38 lakh and Rs 27.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). Variants: It can be had in three broad variants: Excite, Exclusive and Exclusive Pro. Seating Capacity: The ZS EV has the capacity to seat five passengers. Colours: It is offered in four colours: Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Candy White. Battery Pack, Electric Motor and Range: The ZS EV gets a 50.3kWh battery pack mated to an electric motor that churns out 177PS and 280Nm. With this setup, it claims a driving range of 461km. Charging: Using a 7.4kW AC charger, it takes around 8.5 to nine hours to fully recharge the battery while a 50kW DC fast charger can refill the battery from 0-80 per cent in just 60 minutes. Features: Features on board the electric SUV include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a seven-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, and a powered driver seat. It also gets connected car tech and a wireless phone charger. Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, and hill descent control. It now comes with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including lane keep assist and departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and autonomous emergency braking. Rivals: The MG ZS EV competes with the Hyundai Kona Electric, BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Maruti eVX.
