When 400 Backroads Trip Leaders and staff gathered in Vietnam for our annual end of year "Staff Ride," no one expected the magnitude of the adventure that was in store. While Staff Ride is always an epic celebration of life, travel and our incredible Backroads community, this year mother nature decided to throw some extra adventure our way. Biking through the biggest typhoon in nearly two decades, we learned that if you surround yourself with amazing people who share a culture of embracing challenges and chasing authentic life experiences, there's no challenge so great that it can break your spirit.
