Take Your First Steps On The West Highland Way Here - Discover Milngavie, Scotland

Milngavie is a great wee town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland and a suburb of Glasgow. It is on the Allander Water, at the northwestern edge of Greater Glasgow, and about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Glasgow city centre. It neighbours Bearsden - which has alot of Roman history. Speaking of 'ROAMING' The point of this short video was just to introduce you all to parts of the area and mainly it is the starting point for - as some of you know- the wonderful WEST HIGHLAND WAY. This is the point where your brand new shiny walking boots take there first steps onto 96 hard, but amazing miles up to Fort William. I have put a few WHW videos out there so be sure to check them out at the end as well. Some of you will already have walked it and remember this place so I would love to hear your memories of it or even if you are planning to walk it this year if you have any questions then please ask.
