Now in her late 30’s and having suffered a string of failed relationships, she is excited to find something new. There’s only one catch...Pablo is a poltergeist. At first, the pair seem to have a lot in common, and although Emma is desperate for some physical intimacy with Pablo, she welcomes his ethereal presence around the flat. But when redundancy strikes, Emma suddenly faces eviction if she cannot keep up with rent. With no other options, she decides to find a tenant for the spare room. Emma tidies the flat, takes some inviting pictures, and soon gets her first viewing. Dan is a well-mannered, young IT worker, and he takes an instant liking to both Emma and the flat. However, as the viewing progresses, it’s clear that Pablo is not happy. His paranormal activity intensifies, while Emma tries desperately to conceal it and keep up the pretence of a happy home. She is almost successful, and Dan is moments away from taking the room when all hell breaks loose. Curtains are torn shut, books fly across the room and Emma is no longer able to contain an incensed Pablo. Dan flees the property, terrified at what has just occurred. Pablo remains angry, slamming doors late into the night. The next morning, an exhausted Emma receives a call from the estate agent. Dan has made a complaint, and they have decided to take down the listing. Crestfallen and defeated, Emma sits on a park bench digesting the news. With her savings drying up and bills to pay, she has a difficult decision to make. It’s the dead of night, and Emma greets Father O’Leary outside the flat. He explains the process that is about to occur; the exorcism will trap Pablo into a personal item of Emma’s. She hands over a bag and Father O’Leary looks inside. On seeing Emma’s chosen item, he is initially shocked, but regains composure and disappears into the flat to perform the exorcism. Emma waits anxiously in a nearby fish and chip shop. Father O’Leary returns, battered, bruised, but successful. He hands Emma the bag, with the possessed item inside. It’s a few months later, and we find Emma much happier. She has found a new job, started to exercise, and is brimming with confidence. As for her and Pablo? Well, thanks to Father O’Leary, they’ve become closer than ever. Emma takes out the bag, and from within reveals the ‘new and improved’ Pablo. A giant, rotating, demonically possessed … d*ldo. "Pablo, Honey!"
