Breaking News: Iran President Pezeshkian Apologizes to Neighbors, Putin Urges End to War

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, says Tehran has no hostility toward neighboring countries and has apologized to regional states amid escalating tensions in West Asia. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, held a phone call with Pezeshkian and expressed deep condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Putin also called for an immediate end to the conflict, urging all sides to move away from military action and pursue a diplomatic solution. The Russian leader said he has been in regular contact with leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council as tensions continue to rise across the region.
