Nickel Plate Road Berkshires In Bellevue: NKP 765 & 757! Reunion+Whistle Battle of the Berks!

Hello & Welcome to GT Rail Fan Productions! On October 2nd, 2021, Nickel Plate Road 765 would be staying at the Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum in Bellevue OH for 2 weekends after the Steam in The Valley Event at the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad concluded in Mid-September, to reunite NKP 765 & 757, the event being called Berkshires in Bellevue. I had set out to Bellevue OH, after visiting the Berea OH Model Train Show with ‪@CHQRails‬ & ATRAIN0105! I would see ‪@NorfolkSouthernModel‬ & ‪@PainesvilleRailfans‬ at the Show before heading to Bellevue for the Members Night Photo Shoot. I would then meet up with ‪@chendersonrailproductions704‬,‪@ToledoRails‬, & Business Car 10 Productions at Bellevue! We would bump into ‪@NorfolkSouthernModel‬ again here at Bellevue! Nickel Plate Road 765 would be staying at the Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum in Bellevue OH for 2 weekends after the Steam in The Valley Event at the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad concluded in Mid-September. I would trek out to Bellevue due to a Members Night Photo Shoot on the 2nd, as I was ‪@chendersonrailproductions704‬ guest for the shoot, as they allowed 1 guest for members to bring. I would capture some of the caboose rides before they would set the 757 up for the photo shoot. To our surprise they would hook a hose from the NKP #765 to the NKP #757 and the 757 would whistle battle against her sister 765 for the first time in over 60 years. Then we would be treated to a dinner before the photo shoot. Rain did hinder the photo shoot but did allow for some cool photo opportunities. Never did I think I'd see 2 NKP Berkshires together again, and also to hear them whistle battle each other! An experience I will never forget. Thanks to the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, The Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum, and Norfolk Southern for allowing this event to take place.
