Solo Hiking the Two Bays Trail | A hiking film | Mornington Peninsula, Australia.

Day 1: Latrobe Parade Carpark to Lightwood Creek Camping Area. Distance: 16km (10mi) Time: Approx 4 Hours. Day 2: Lightwood Creek Camping Area to Cape Schanck and return. Distance 18.6km (11.5mi) Time: Approx 5 Hours. This is traditionally a one way, end to end hike starting at the Dromana Foreshore and ending at Cape Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria Australia. I didn't have a car shuffle buddy so I spent 2 nights at Lightwood Creek Camping Area and hiked up and back starting from Latrobe Parade Carpark. Lightwood Creek Camping Area features a pit toilet, tables for cooking and a rainwater tank water in which you should treat before drinking. There are 5 campsites. While formal bookings or fees are not required, campers are advised to call 13 1963 to check with rangers on campground availability. The Two Bays Trail would be a great hike for beginners as it has many access points.
